We sat down with Jess Kingerski, Logistics Account Executive, to understand what keeps her moving each day while working at Dynamo Freight.
Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I went to Pittsburgh Technical College and studied Business Administration.
How did you first hear about Dynamo?
I first heard about Dynamo when I met Drew at a career fair at PTC.
How did you become interested in going into the logistics industry?
During college, my supply chain and logistics courses were my favorite ones to take!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part about my job is how exciting it is when I accomplish something new that I’ve recently learned.
What keeps you at Dynamo?
The friendships that I have made here keep me at Dynamo. I felt so welcomed when I first started, and a part of the Dynamo team quicker than I could’ve imagined.
If you could go back in time and tell yourself one thing about your job search, what would it be?
I would tell myself to be patient and that I will end up where I am supposed to be.
For someone about to start a career in sales and logistics, what would you tell them?
I would tell them to be patient, and that everything will come to you in time with practice.
What experiences led you to start your career in logistics?
Realizing how much of a people person I am and that I am always looking for new ways to grow and improve, much like the logistics industry.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?
I hate peanut butter! lol
How would you describe the company culture at Dynamo Freight?
The company culture is better than I’ve ever seen at any company. Everyone helps and encourages one another to learn. Everyone also wants to do what is best for Dynamo as a whole. We know how to have fun while getting our stuff done.
What is the most memorable change that has happened at Dynamo Freight in your time with the company?
In my time with Dynamo, the most memorable change would be exactly this, the employee highlights. I think it is nice that Dynamo wants to show the uniqueness of each of its employees.
